We specialize in all kinds of repairs on plastic bumpers. Using the latest technologies, premium quality repair products and OEM quality paints and clear coats, we can restore nearly any kind of damage to like new condition.
Scratches, gouges, scuffs, chips, even dents and cracks can all be repaired to be cosmetically invisible and have permanent durability. We provide a quality repair equal to or surpassing what a high end body shop would provide, and we can still save you hundreds of dollars.
We use computer matched paint colors that we mix right here at our shop. And, since vehicle colors often vary from car to car, we expertly tint the color to match your car if needed. We finish your bumper painting with premium quality clear coat that combines a smooth, high gloss shine, strong durability and UV protection.
Our service usually includes removing your bumper from the car and then performing the repairs and painting. This has many advantages over leaving the bumper on the car including no overspray on your vehicle, more thorough cleaning and preparation, no masking lines and a cleaner finished clear coat. However, some smaller repairs do not justify removal of the bumper and these are considered on a per case basis.
All of our body and paint repairs come with a full lifetime warranty.
There are times when a bumper needs to be replaced rather than repaired. Sometimes the damage is too much and sometimes a replacement can be so economical that it makes better sense.
We offer our customers a choice of new factory bumpers or CAPA certified aftermarket bumpers if available. Contrary to common opinion, aftermarket bumpers are a great alternative to OEM. Usually there is no visual difference and the cost savings can be huge.
We take extreme care when preparing a new bumper for painting and also use high quality adhesion promoters prior to painting to ensure that not only does the finished product look great but also holds up for as long as you own your car. If preparation is not done correctly, new bumpers can be very likely to peel or chip easily.
All of our body and paint repairs come with a full lifetime warranty.
There are times when minor paint issues arise that don’t justify the cost full repair and repainting. These can include rock chips, deeper scratches and door edges.
We have vast experience with these kinds of issues. There are multiple processes that we use depending on the severity and type of damage. While there is no magic system that will ever replace actual repair and repainting, our attention to detail, ability to custom tint colors and skill with application can yield a very nice result.
Since every touch up job is different, we evaluate your car and do our best to let you know ahead of time what to expect of the end result. Touch up is often the best solution to those minor issues. It is very cost effective, improves your cars appearance and keeps the original paint intact. However, there are times when touch up may not improve the damage very much and we don’t want you to waste money or not get what you expect. The right advice from a professional is as important as the repair itself.
Scratches can vary greatly in size and severity. Using various techniques we have perfected the process to make your scratches disappear!
Many scratches look worse than they actually are. Most scratches can either be fully removed or greatly improved with skilful wet sanding, buffing and polishing. Deeper scratches may need paint repair. Either way we can provide a high quality and cost effective solution for you.
We offer premium quality repairs for minor collision damage. Specializing in “fender benders”, vandalism, paint damage and other smaller repairs allows us to provide first class quality, reasonable pricing and fast turnaround.
We use only top grade computer matched paint and premium quality high solids clear coat, so your vehicle will have an exact color match and a durable high gloss finish.
All of our body and paint repairs come with a full lifetime warranty.
We are happy to work with any insurance company and will handle your claim in a timely, professional manner. We often offer discounts on your deductable if possible. Each claim is different and some exclusions apply.
While some repairs justify an insurance claim, many do not. We take pride in offering out of pocket customers very competitive pricing compared to a standard insurance estimate. We have saved hundreds of customers a great deal of money over an estimate they already had at an “insurance only” shop. We never cut corners on quality and workmanship, but there are often non essential parts or repairs in these estimates that may add up to significant savings. We also strive to provide repair options where replacement parts are just too expensive. We also offer aftermarket parts options that look and function just like the factory parts, only with a much smaller price tag.
If your vehicle is damaged badly enough to be not drivable, it is probably not something we can help you with. However, we never charge for good advice, so if your unsure or need a shop recommendation we are always happy to help.
As a final note on insurance work, most insurers will try to direct you to one of their DRP (Direct Repair Provider) shops when you file a claim. Some shops want you to believe that if you do you will be getting low quality parts, subpar workmanship and your vehicle will be unsafe when it is completed. This is somewhat of an exaggeration. The reality is that your vehicle will likely be safe when completed. The actual workmanship you get will always depend on the individuals actually performing the repairs. The biggest problem for most customers is that they don’t really know what to look for when they are inspecting the finished product. Many times the job may look great when you first get it back, but what will it look like in a year? Inferior preparation and low quality products that save money often only show their true colors after some time. In reality, many DRP shops do pretty good work but many do not. This is usually because they give large discounts to the insurance companies in exchange for the referrals they get. These shops do not just absorb those lost dollars. They use lower cost and lower quality products. They also pass the buck down to their repair technicians who are paid on commission. In turn the technicians find ways to do the job in less time to compensate for the lost pay. The end result is a repair that is of lower quality and, while not necessarily unsafe, may be noticeable enough to lower your vehicles value to a future buyer or more likely as a trade in to a car dealership.
We don’t think we are the only shop in town that does great work and we don’t think every insurance company is out to give you a low quality repair to save money. In fact, we have had some great experiences with insurance adjusters. Some have even decided to pay us more than we requested for a repair because they appreciated that we were being fair and honest and not trying to take advantage of them. How often does that happen?
We hope to have the opportunity to provide a quality repair for you. And, even if you choose a company other than Color Systems, we hope you will find a quality repair provider (we hate fixing other shops work, but we do it quite often). As a rule we would still recommend a shop that is NOT a DRP referred by the insurer as we feel you will more likely receive a quality repair from an independent facility.

We use premium quality fillers and primers for a durable and long lasting repair. We then refinish with carefully matched colors and highly durable clear coat. Wheels take a lot of abuse with brake dust, heat and road debris so it is essential that a repair is of very high quality. Automotive headlights have clear plastic protective lenses that often become cloudy and yellow over time. This is due to ultraviolet sunlight breaking down the plastic. This leaves your vehicle with not only an aged, worn out look but also a potentially unsafe condition as the light output from the headlight bulbs is choked off behind the haze. The biggest problem for car owners is the fact that these headlights can be extremely expensive to replace.
We have developed a very effective process for restoring these headlights to their original clarity. Using various fine sandpapers, special plastic compounds and polishes and a unique UV resistant clear coat your headlights will look like new and be protected again for years to come. This process provides the restored beauty and safety you need at a small fraction of replacement cost.
If your headlights are cracked or building up water on the inside we also offer the most competitive pricing on original equipment or aftermarket replacements.
We offer complete detailing services for restoring your vehicles original beauty. With various packages and levels of finishing steps we are able to satisfy any expectation and any budget.
Selecting a detailing company can be very confusing for customers. There are so many detailing companies out there and such a wide range of pricing offered that you may be left scratching your head and wondering where to go. We have had hundreds of happy customers over the years mainly because of our philosophy about auto detailing. We strive to provide the best value for your dollar. The cheapest price in town is not always the best value and the most expensive is not always the highest quality. One size does not fit all. Each vehicle is different and each customer has different expectations.
We offer several standard packages that will meet most customers’ needs. You are able to easily choose an option that fits your needs and budget. Additionally, we have found the most effective process is to find out what each customer really wants and needs and then tailor our services to provide this. We take pride in offering the finest automotive detailing services available while providing the highest level of customer service. This makes COLOR SYSTEMS the obvious choice for your auto detailing needs.
LEVEL 1There is nothing more frustrating than having an unpleasant smell in your car. Every time you drive you are trapped in a small space with it. Sprays and fragrances only mask odors for a short time and some have unhealthy chemicals in them. We have been solving automotive odor problems for years and have found the safest and most effective processes available. Problems such as smoke, mildew, pet hair and urine can all be removed permanently. This brings value back to your car and more importantly makes it pleasurable to drive again.
We offer a fully guaranteed odor removal for your vehicle. Each odor problem is unique and we evaluate your car on an individual basis. Some are remedied fairly easily while others may require more extensive treatments and may require interior cleaning and detailing first. Our goal is to provide a cost effective solution that works permanently.
Protecting the paint on your car is a wise investment. Chipping and road rash look terrible and they lower your cars value. We offer a perfect solution – Armor Coat. Armor coat is a clear, flexible, protective coating that is sprayed on. It is virtually invisible and is extremely durable.
The protective finish of Armor coat is much less noticeable than any film product. The finish of Armor Coat is nearly identical to the existing clear coat is both texture and gloss. On a typical front end application the only edge lines are on the hood and fenders where the application in stopped. All other areas are applied all the way to the edge. The front bumper is covered completely with no hard lines or gaps in protection. Another advantage of Armor Coat compared to films is that with Armor Coat the edge of the application does not remain sticky so it doesn’t collect dirt and wax and form an ugly ring around the protected area.
Armor Coat also has another great advantage. Existing chips and road rash can be repaired as part of the Armor Coat application. In the past, owners of a used vehicle either had to pay to have the front of their car repainted and then have film applied, or apply film over the already chipped up paint. Now you can have any existing damage repaired and then have Armor Coat protection applied instead of standard clear coat. It’s the perfect solution for a new or a pre-owned vehicle.
Armor Coat can be applied to virtually any painted surface of your vehicle. The application can go as far up the hood as desired so the protection is custom fit to each vehicle and each customer’s preferences. Applications typically include bumpers, hoods, fenders, mirrors, pillars and lower panels. You can have as much or as little done as you like.

When it comes time to sell your vehicle its overall cosmetic condition will dramatically affect the selling price and how quickly it finds a new home. Car dealerships know this and that is why they spend time and money reconditioning their vehicles before they offer them up for sale. Detailing, scratches, dents, bumper gouges, rock chips, curbed wheels, carpet stains, cracked or damaged leather are just some common issues that can be remedied at Color Systems.
Even the most mechanically sound vehicle may be passed over by a buyer if it doesn’t look nice. Buyers cannot see inside the engine or transmission but they can see how shiny the paint is, if it is scratched or dented and if the interior looks fresh and clean. A freshly detailed and reconditioned car gets potential buyers excited. Remember that to a potential buyer your “used” car is their “new” car.
We have years of experience reconditioning vehicles for many major car dealerships. They use Color Systems because we have the ability to evaluate what a vehicle needs and provide all services conveniently and cost effectively at one location. Our experience also gives us the ability to prioritize the services your vehicle needs so you can get the most return on your investment. Most pre-sale packages include a level 1 detail combined with repairs or reconditioning to any noticeable damage to the interior or exterior that will likely be noticed by potential buyers.
A presale/reconditioning package is also a wise choice for a leased vehicle. Lease companies are becoming extremely strict with their inspections of leased vehicles. They know that cosmetic damage will need to be repaired before the car can be resold. They often charge the lease holder double or triple what the actual repair cost will be! Don’t get an expensive surprise when you return your leased vehicle. We can repair all of your wear and tear problems whether they are interior or exterior and ensure a painless lease return.
If you’re planning to trade your vehicle in to a dealership it is a good idea to have it looking its best. Dealership managers evaluate your cars trade in value based on market conditions and on your cars condition! Remember that sales managers are people too and they get excited about a really nice looking car just like anyone else does. If they get a clean car in good condition they will have to spend less on it to get it ready to resell, and you will get top dollar for your trade.
We understand that you do not want to invest a huge amount of money into a car you are selling, trading or turning in. We offer package discounts in these cases and will offer advice on what will really help your car the most. We sometimes even recommend against certain repairs that customers inquire about because the return on their dollar will not be substantial enough. Our goal is to help our customers and by doing so we have enjoyed vast amounts of repeat business!
Call or stop by and we will be happy to offer a free inspection and free advice to help you get the most from your used vehicle.
